Whilst there is an argument that the existence of the superinjunction and the associated power of threat that it gives lawyers has a negative effect on democracy (especially with stuff like the Trafigura case, and the somewhat linked issues around the release of official reports into the collapse of the likes of RBS), lets not forget that all these papers are moaning about is that they dont get to make money out of scandal.

Fact is, if I'd have shagged Imogen Thomas, the papers could have went to town on me. Just because Gi... erm... the footballer in question is rich, he's able to suppress it.

That's double standard and as such, I can't agree with it. The super-injunctions are in their death throes and rightly so.
