Mainly just the terminology they use following the headline such as KEVIN DOYLE TO BARCELONA

Our sources suggest Barcelona could sign Kevin Doyle before the window "slams shut".

Of course they COULD, just the same as they could sign my gran or my dog, but realistically it's not going to happen is it?

Rant over, I'm sorry people.

"Everton are set to sign Rooney but remain coy on their interest in Sigurdsson...."
Coy. Words like that are used. Also a player is described as having many "suitors" among the clubs.
It's still a man's game isn't it? Or a novel by Jane Austen?
