Football Space Jam

Thought I would post this tonight after a discussion today between friends to see what general consensus people have...

Say Aliens invaded Earth tomorrow and much like the old film 'Space Jam', offered us one chance to save our world through one game of football with our best possible 11 out of every current professional player, who would you pick?

Feel free to pick any formation, and for my choices I've decided to rule out variables like current injuries age and form, so its essentially your dream 11 if everyone was at their peak.

Mine would be in a 4-2-2-2 formation (one holding midfielders with one slightly more forward and two wingers who cut inside)

GK: Neuer
RB: Lahm
CB: Vidic
CB: Puyol
LB: A. Cole
DM: Schweinsteiger
CM: Iniesta
RAM: Messi
LAM: Ronaldo
ST: Falcao
ST: Ibrahimovic

Honourable mentions for a possible bench : Casillas, Thiago Silva, Yaya Toure, Aguero, Torres (form irrelevant torres)

All of the above mate myself. I was just wondering if you'd forgotten about those three players but if you haven't and selected Cole on ability then fair play. I just disagree that's all!

I actually agree with the rest... maybe not Vidic, but I can see why he's there.

Fair play each to their own, thats the point of the topic really to see what different combinations of 11 people would come up with! If i was taking into account age/form etc then Cashley wouldnt make it, and Torres would be absolutely no where near the bench, but in this everyone at their very best fantasy world I would plump for them i think.

Centre Back was the position i struggled the most with to be honest so i went with proven people over time but i also considered people like silva hummels chiellini pique etc
