Football match in a baseball stadium

Fenway feels very much like Goodison ironically, great sense of history, not only what happened on the field but in the stands, the milllions of fans who have stood, sat and cheered over the years.

Yeah it looks class . My brother is planning an East Coast tour to take in a few baseball stadiums . I'm tempted to do it with him. Boston and Baltimore are 2 city's I'd love to visit and going back to newcyork would be great .

You should do it mate if you can. Boston is a fantastic city, great food and people.

Fenway is a sporting icon regardless of their association with the "dark side".

You chatting about the RDS? Lovely, lovely ground.
That's the one mate. They've since done it up as it now accommodates Leinster Rugby home matches and the rugby crowd are the elite of society over here ! Rovers finally have their own ground (sort of its really the councils) up in tallaght. The RDS is far nicer though apart from the rugby toffs

I am going to see New York City FC play at the Yankee Stadium at the end of August. Really looking forward to seeing a football game at a Baseball stadium.

Been to Tallaght, it's where the Irish Rugby League team play (y)

Red Sox & Everton are the equivalent to each other. I'm a fan of both and they are both teams that I picked outside of my home regions because we didn't have an MLB or EPL team. Consistent, historic, stubborn and classy organizations. I don't really care which rich person owns what these days.

Red Sox have won 3 titles in the last 10 years though :(
