Football match in a baseball stadium

Meant to post this a few days ago. On Tuesday there was a friendly match in my city (Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA) between Newcastle and Atlas FC from Liga MX in Mexico. It was played at Miller Park, which is the home to our baseball team, the Brewers.

Anyway, in case you ever wondered what that would look like, here are a few photos. The pitch actually looked a lot better than I was expecting.

Always wonder how stable the weird turf is they add to the outfield dirt to make a rectangle.

We played in the Dodgers stadium and San Fran Giants

New York City play at Yankee stadium

I love NFL but baseball stadiums are class . I'd love to visit Camden yard , wrigley field and and the Yankee stadium . Fenway as well if they weren't balls deep with the kopites

ugh that horrid slide. visited Miller Park around '01... saw a Brewers game. After Sexton(?) hit a home run, so disappointing given what I had seen on tv in my youth in the old stadium.

Nice photos dude.
We played shamrock rovers in a friendly in what was originally a Horse Showjumping Arena back in the early nineties. Players had to get tetanus shots beforehand. Won 4-1

Fenway feels very much like Goodison ironically, great sense of history, not only what happened on the field but in the stands, the milllions of fans who have stood, sat and cheered over the years.
