I used to read Roy of The Rovers like most did, but some other favourites were:

There was also this comicstrip about some kid who was amazing at footy only when he had some of his grandad's/grandma's bubble and squeak. Bit weird like.

I also used to get this comic monthly.

Yeah well they don't celebrate a defeat mate like Scotland and Spurs do.

And we have won a world cup like. Not many countries win much.

Celebrate what defeat?

And that World Cup win? It's tainted, it's like having a team play home games only for the entire season. And it was beards ago. The foreigners laugh at England when it comes to football to be honest mate.
