Player Valuation: Free Transfer
We recently made contact on Twitter with the Grand Old Team forum admins and they very kindly okayed us to post a quick message about our charity matches at Goodison Park.

Football Aid have been running matches in conjunction with the club since 2001 and in that time over 380 players have taken part in our matches, raising £38,539 for the Alder Hey Kids Hospital & projects nominated by the Everton Football in the Community, as well as our own Diabetes related projects.

Our 11-aside matches at Goodison feature Everton fans Living the Dream by playing on the hallowed turf alongside the likes of Pat Nevin, Derek Mountfield, Graeme Sharp, Stuart Barlow and Ian Snodin. We’ve got images from our matches on the website Gallery and footage on YouTube of goals, celebrations and saves from all our matches.

If you’ve played in our games before please feel free to share your experiences, we're sure your fellow posters would love to hear how it went, even if you did end up on the losing side!

Positions are currently available to Buy Now on our website http://www.footballaid.com/ and our Auction Bidding will start in January 2010.

Just to say thanks in advance if you do choose to support us this season, if you’d like to ask us any questions about the matches please just e-mail us at info@footballaid.com

Many thanks for sticking the thread!

Just wanted to post a quick reminder that the Auction Bidding has now started for the Football Aid matches at Goodison.

Bidding starts from just £170, with positions closing throughout February and full details can be found on the Football Aid website address above!

Just to say good luck if you do choose to bid. (y)

Many many toffee's cannot afford this type of money. Is there no way to be able to streamline it and allow income based betting, where a percentage is taken into account?

I want Proper Evertonians to win, not money men looking for a good pr deal and raffling it off in companies. It happens.

My cousin normally does this, well hes done it a few years from what I can recall, I went to watch him one year. Was a decent little day, sat in the Main Stand. Longed for my GSE seat.
