There is probably a thread for this but I thought I'd start one off anyway because betting on football is quite popular nowadays. Post any tips and what bets you are putting on here.

Trying to cut down on betting. Lost probably thousands on it and the horses. Got one on now though

I find the best way to make profit is to just lump on a team you're confident. More than 3 teams and one team will let you down.

I've picked the same thing up Ste. Last week I stuck £10 on Barca to win and Bayern to win, it's easy money. Whereas when I put a 5/6 fold on I usually get let down by 1.

Van persie first goalscorer and united to win 2-1...... Got that on at 22/1

2 accy's on the go

United
Dortmund
Celtic
Rangers
Dunfermline

All to win

Little cover bet of rangers, Celtic, Dortmund to win

Everton are 4/11 on the weekend and Spurs are 1/3 (home to Cardiff). Both good prices to be honest

Had a belter on the weekend, put £5 on:
Burnley at home to Forest
Yeovil at home to Doncaster
City at home to Stoke
United away to Palace
Celtic away to Hearts
Arsenal at home to Palace
Newcastle at home to Villa.

Returned a nice 162 pound.

Put £2 on 12 games @ 365/1 a few weeks ago. 11 winners came in, Inter Milan drew 0 0 at home with bottom of the league Catania.

Barstewards.
