Just iced my Christmas cake, and will make a humungous amount of mince pies this afternoon.

We are planning on baking Chocolate cookies, we are also going to try a new recipe to make gingerbread spiced snowflake cookies. Then for her birthday I will be baking her a peppermint chocolate cake filled with candy cane Swiss meringue buttercream and topped with dark chocolate peppermint glaze![]()
I have never tried a mince pie but they sound delicious. How did they come up?
I use this recipe, but I make my own mincemeat.
