So my mate just completed this and got paid £3750 for 10 days work. You basically go to a medical facility where they infect you with a 'controlled' weak version of flu and then monitor you for the following 10-15 days. You can't leave your room but you have access to a TV, PS3, Wifi etc... it's basically being paid to hermit out in a room for a week. Half the patients get given a placebo and the other half actually get given the flu, my mate got given the flu but he only developed a sore throat.

It sounds like something you'd imagine in a horror film where people go to a government lab to get tested on... but my mate said it was fine, just a bit boring at times and is hoping to go back next year for a second hit lol

Anyone else tried it ?

Coming soon to Channel 5. Watch 6 celebrities you've never heard of have mucus sodden tissue fights - special late night edition featuring unexpurgated footage of bedtime chesty coughs !

I remember being offered some jarg sounding Anthrax jab by the Royal Navy when we were doing air ops in Iraq during the conflict.
I refused it as the side effects sounded awful, but guess not as bad as actual anthrax like.

I'd deffo have the flu for a week for 3 bags though.
