Just yesterday I drove 12 hours through the heavy rain, most of it at night, from North Georgia to Louisiana—it ain’t all its cracked up to be. But the road trip is the consummate Yank experience, so get some. If you ever get lost around here you’ve got a place to stay.
Driving from northern Georgia to Shreveport means Alabama and Mississippi were involved. Not sure if 'it ain't all its cracked up to be' applies. Unless it was less shittier than usual.
