Guys.
Apologies if this is the incorrect forum but do you know of any area's surrounding Liverpool where there is apparent flooding.
For the game today, were travelling from a village in Lancashire and have been flooded; normally go via A59 through Ormskirk/Burscough etc.

Dont really want to come from one flood hit area and have to deal with more on the way.

Cheers

......I'm sure others will provide more accurate reports but I'm not aware of anything. I was on the A59 briefly yesterday but only around the Maghull area, fields are flooded but roads were OK.

Hope everything turns out fine where you are and safe journey.

The A59 was closed just past Switch Island on Saturday but I'm not sure if it's still closed or open.

You could always come in from Southport (Preston, pick up A565 to Liverpool).

I think the roads to JLA were clear over the Chrimbo period - otherwise we might have had either mass suicide reports from Norway or several thousand stranded somewhere between Walton Breck Road and the Airport.

Most roads around Ormskirk, Burscough, Scarisbrick, Haskayne etc are fine and open again. Some where closed boxing day but most major routes are clear.

Certain areas in Maghull still with water on the road but they're likely avoided going towards Goodison.

Few roads in Kirkby with water on too but you'll likely avoid that. Sounds like everywhere else is recovering or already sound.
