Evening toffees,
This weekend will be our first visit to Goodison Park. We wanted to see our beloved Fellaini in action but that...will be difficult.

Any advice on where to go for some 'warming up' and meet up with Everton fans would be very much appreciated!
Same goes for the cooling down after the match also :P

First of all welcome to GOT. Where in Belgium are you from? I myself always go to 'Players Pub' on County Road for pre match drinking. After the match, I don't bother, because it's just too crowded. Think you better head for the city centre, which is absolutely great at night. Personally am a fan of Flannagan's Apple. Also some great restaurants in the city centre. Enjoy your time mate, I've found out Liverpool is hugely addictive.

Germinal Beerschot or Royal Antwerp?

To be fair mate, there are enough pubs near Goodison, but Players is normally a bit less crowded than those situated nearer the ground. As for the city centre, just find out for yourself, as there is plenty to choose from. Don't trust that fluffy blue one on here though. ;-)

And Royal Antwerp Dutch Toffee, unfortunately their game is beyond crap lately...

Went to Royal Antwerp quite a few times in the early-mid nineties, when they still played in the highest division. Still hold a soft spot for them. Just a shame they had such a hard time over the last 10-12 years or so. Sadly something that sounds all too familiar to me.
