Hi blues fans
I'm travelling over to Liverpool from Adelaide, Australia in April for my birthday with my wife & adult children and am hoping to watch the Everton v Chelsea match. I'm looking for advice as to best place to sit for view and atmosphere at Goodison Park, also the best place to get tickets for this game.
Thanks in advance.

getting 4 tickets together might be difficult, I would be keeping an eye on stubhub every day to see if any come up and buying them quick if they do, you might have to pay a fair whack for them tho...and maybe settle for 2 pairs in different places instead

When I visited I bought my tickets through StubHub, just be prepared to pay $$$ (As in up to £150). If you're taking the family to watch the game then Upper Bullens, if by yourself then Gwladys St.

@Stephen Brown As an alternative to a third party resale website if you are willing to splash that kind of money you could pay for hospitality. That will give you the benefit that you know it comes from the club so you know you aren't getting messed around. You get unobstructed views from the main stand, get a guest speaker and a 3 course meal. So if you were planning on a posh dinner then least that's some money saved that you would spend elsewhere if you just bought the tickets alone.

Edit: Here's some blurb off the website:

Official Everton Hospitality in the heart of the city

Due to the record hospitality sales this season all of the lounges at Goodison Park are now SOLD OUT.

To give fans the ultimate Everton experience the Club have teamed up with a small number of popular hotels in the city centre.*

On arrival at any of our chosen venues, guests will receive a welcome drink before indulging in a three-course seasonal meal as well as being entertained by an MC and hearing from a former Everton player and Club guest.

An executive coach will take guests to Goodison Park where executive padded seats with unobstructed views will await along with all the match action from some of the best viewpoints in the house. Guests will be transported back to The Pullman to carry on the evening with fellow Blues.

This fantastic Everton hospitality package includes:

- Welcome drink on arrival

- Three-course meal

- Three complimentary drinks

- Interviews with Everton former player/Club guest

- Matchday programme

- Executive seats in the Main Stand with unobstructed views

- Live pre-match TV – Sky Sports/BT Sport

- Transport to and from Goodison Park
