I had to look it up as all I could remember of it was the year being 1977 and against Forest. I went with my dad (RS) and grandad (a true true blue who still went to most of the home games at 84 years of age), we sat in the main stand and can remember being mightily impressed with the roar of the crowd when it went in and the Gwladys St going absolutely bonkers.
Up until then had only been to South Liverpool F.C. and what a treat that day was even though we didn't win.
