Fire sticks

Never really got on with the one I had to be honest, although I know many folk who think they're great. I always found it to be a bit slow and unresponsive, but maybe I just got a dud. I've since bought the Roku stick, which I like a lot more. Fire sticks are often on offer, and Black Friday's approaching, so you probably wouldn't need to spend £100 on one.

For £100 it comes fully loaded so you can watch literally anything.

I thought plenty on here would be able to give me a steer.

Must admit I had to look them up. Not illegal to own or have the software like, but I'm not sure it's Amazon approved stuff, like.
I had to look them up, too... my naive post above thought this was about the legit ones, which I knew cost nothing like £100. But now I understand they're like ones you buy off someone in a pub, and they're packed with stuff like blurry films recorded at a skewed angle with a rustling noise all the way through, or footie with commentary in a language you don't even recognise, much less understand...

I probably got a fire stick that maybe I did myself. It's exactly what you'd get off a guy going hsss whilst wearing a mac and sunglasses.

It's good for almost everything. The big let down is streaming live matches which have heavy traffic watching them like united or rs games. Sometimes streaming services go kaput in a blink of an eye without warning- I don't know how the preloaded ones work round that.

The ones I have seen in use seem well worth the money. You need to join the online chat groups to keep them working effectively now in case of problems. I do not use one as I do not have enough time to spend watching TV, films or football, but a couple of mates swear by them.
