Evening All,

As a Rangers supporter who moved to Liverpool quite a few years ago and also started supporting Everton it is with great pleasure that the Gers will get the opportunity to get some well deserved revenge for Everton in the Semis!

I've been to various away games over the years and by the looks of things it looks like we'll be taking some serious large numbers over to Florence without official tickets. (I'm currently waiting to see if I get an official one).

But as you many of you guys have been over recently it would be go od to get the lowdown on how/where you managed to get tickets and how you found it. My flights are booked but looks like things are quite tight in relation to getting home end tickets!

Advice appreciated!

Cheers

heres a load of threads that were running at around that time, painfull reading i'm afraid, we were trying all ways to get them as the club only got about 2,500, tried hotels over there, ticket agencies etc but in italy they print your name on the ticket and you have to show i.d. when going in, they wouldn't accept uk i.d. i gave up after lads who arrived early said there was no chance, they couldnt get anywhere near the ground and had to watch on screens in the pissing down rain apparently,oh yeah and your gonna love this..........they make florence dry !!!! not drink it dry !!! some of the lads who went over will maybe give you some info, most havent really said much since their return as it appears that a [Poor language removed] trip was had by most. they wouldnt give any extra tickets even though the ground was only 2/3 full.
it seems that the florence ultras had been telling the cops that they were gonna be overrun by thousands of the worst fans in europe and leading up to the match it seems we were made out like that resulting in less than hospitable hosts.

the italians may treat this game differently as it is not "english" opposition. i was at the ground ticketless...and you could not buy a home end ticket without identification...thing was..they wouldnt accept british passports...sowe were [Poor language removed]...irish evertonians had no trouble with their irish passport...for me, i ended up watching it in a basketball arena...if you dont have a ticket, i would advise not to travel...it is the only place i have ever been and thought "i cant wait to get home".

didnt someone lose their ticket as well ? my last hope that i thought of was an old i.d. card from when i worked abroad , you should get a flight no probs though, think there are more per day now, you fly to pisa, some pretty cheap hotels too when i looked.

Find a friend who speaks Italian - that'll get you a ticket easily. Some guys I know got them for the Everton game this way. If you stick to the quiet bars you should be fine. The Italian police are right [Poor language removed] - gave Everton fans a hard time just for stepping out of the line by a foot and of course all the stories you may have heard about Man U in Rome etc. are all correct.

Thanks guys, it really doesnt look good at all!!

Have saw various ticket agencies sellig tickets for the home parts for £70 in the curves and £140 in the long parts. Would avoid the curves due to ultras but £140 is very steep!

Based on previous trips this year I've got a feeling that we could easilly take 10,000-15,000 meaning a hell of alot of ticketless fans!

Would be good to hear from blues who were over there!

Cheers guys and keep em coming!

Good luck Rangers, finish the job and put these slimey [Poor language removed] out ! And that Darshvelle is a cracking player, maybe a sneaky bid from us this summer !

Your 2nd goal on Thursday was magic. Put Walcotts run in the shade.

...plus my mate supports Rangers. As I said.

And they're not cocky [Poor language removed] who don't know the difference between the words 'lose' and 'loose'. (harsh? yes. do I care? no :P) Which is always good
