Vaughan - Played absolutely no part in anything
Pienaar - Was poor for the first half of the season and evidently wasn't missed in the 2nd half as Baines did fine without him.
Yakubu - Rightly or wrongly (wrongly) played hardly any part in the season and spent half of it on loan.
Arteta - Had an ineffective season bar two or three games when deployed on the left. Osman is capable on the left and we've signed a dedicated left winger in Drenthe, so we really should be able to replace that.
Beckford - Scored 8 goals in the league and I'm fuming he's gone. But we played 4-4-2 for about 7 seconds and he was mostly shoe-horned into a 4-5-1. We haven't seen Denis yet but it won't take much for him to be more useful as a lone striker than Becks was.

These are facts.

When they were poor it is a fact. That he wasn't missed in the second half of the season is a fact, our results were the evidence that proves it.

Neither is saying someone 'wasn't missed' a fact; it is an opinion. You clearly have trouble distinguishing between the two.

Rock solid arguments there really. Even with player performances you can't cut it as easily into facts as you lot seem to be doing right now. If Beckford scored 1 goal in every 180 mins, that is in fact, a fact. To say he did so even as he wasn't utilised in a role that suited him best means you have an opinion (which I share). It also means you don't share the obvious opinion of Moyes.
