Can anyone link to a easy to read guide detailing the whole history of Isreal/Palestine.

I'm not really that knowledgeable on the subject and stuff like wikipedia is a bit too in depth to get the basic gist of the problems.

Lol yeah i know but i've tried reading up in the past and its so difficult to get into, someone must have simpliefied it as much as possible somewhere yet still given a good account of exactly whats gone on over the years.

I would recommend:

Tanya Reinhart - Israel/Palestine or How to End the War of 1948.
Ilan PappÃ© - A History of Modern Palestine. This is a great book, told from a social perspective rather than a military one.

Although NOT SURE IF SERIOUS.

Israel = Beyond Criticism.

Pity the U.S. didn't want to get involved in WW2 a bit earlier to help them out, instead of deciding to join in at a point that the rest of us view as "oh, so it's affecting you now is it ?"

Expecting a reply containing something about internal matter, nothing to do with us. Which actually means, we say nothing to support or criticise them, until the doors are closed then we shake their hands and give them more money and hardware.
