Films you thought were great, but would only watch once.

The Road. Amazing movie, some really powerful acting from Mortensen, but I don't think I'd watch again, it was so depressing and sad.

The scene with his wife is just about the most heartbreaking scene I've watched, the helplessness and desperation in Mortensen's character is incredibly acted.

I'd also add Raging Bull, beautifully filmed and the level of dedication that went into it is obvious, but I've never felt like re-watching it

I cried a couple of times, well, misty eyed anyway, proper heartbreaking, especially the ending, you just keep on hoping for 90 minutes that something good is going to come their way. Bit like Everton really.

This really. Shutter Island was the film that came to my mind.

See normally I would agree with films with twists, but apparently if you watch it again with the knowledge of the ending, there's so many metaphors and hidden meanings that pop out at you. I'm dying to watch it again, that final scene is one of the best ever.

The Road is a top shout though. Great film, but mentally draining.
