Well? Would you rather see us do everything to scrap for points or nurture our young talent, build a team playing eye catching football and to hell with the possible consequences?
It would appear not.Could we not do both please mate?
This please.Could we not do both please mate?
obviously I'm going with the second option, no reason that can't get us scrapping for point either thoughWell? Would you rather see us do everything to scrap for points or nurture our young talent, build a team playing eye catching football and to hell with the possible consequences?
We've been playing safety first football for a little while now and we are incredibly boring to watch as a result. Martinez' style doesn't work unless players take some risks. So lots of risk and not worry about it going wrong?obviously I'm going with the second option, no reason that can't get us scrapping for point either though

Well we are capable of grinding out wins and picking up points or do we go to be entertained and enjoy the game whilst less of a guarantee of points? That's what the poll is for.as opposed to it not already going wrong without taking risks?
More risk's for sure, showing faith in barkley from a deeper position, and besic too, Macarthy coming back makes that a bit more interesting, but the safety first barry should be fourth choice for now. A lack of balance is probably a bigger issue than safety first football for me, without balance you can't construct anything, you have no rhythm and become one paced. Stone will help massively with our play, and ideally another confident center halve will come in or galloway will step up at some point. But we should be looking to add more cut and thrust to our style rather than getting hung up on finding a way to scrape one nils wins, we are mid table, it's not the mid 90's, that doesn't mean we can't be a tougher more physical team, but managers who panic about taking risks will never make it to the very top, the best managers the very elite know that preperation only takes you so far, every now and then you will have to take a leap of faithWe've been playing safety first football for a little while now and we are incredibly boring to watch as a result.
