FIFA 12 DEMO

Ah ffs. Was supposed to put in an effort to learn FIFA this year but I think I'll have to go with PES again.

So after everyone fuming about England not getting the world cup and how its corrupt in Qatar got it and how much of a bell Sepp Blatter is, people are still going to buy into the FIFA product?

I'm surprised so many will be buying it though after the furore and hatred towards FIFA after the WC decisions

EA will pay FIFA a license fee I'd imagine. It's not like FIFA are publishing the game themselves.

My copy won't really make Sepp Blatter any richer. But it will give me plenty of hours of fun.

Ok so say your correct.

EA pay FIFA a license fee, you contribute to buying the game which helps make FIFA that bit richer. Your still buying into the product.

If i go to a pub and buy a pint of Carling, i'm helping to pay the wages of the bar staff, but i recognise i'm drinking the Carling brand by buying their product. Same with this, your paying EA's wages and making FIFA brand your 'drink'.

Best analogy i could think of by the way, dying for a pint

Haha. I'm not denying the obvious connection between FIFA and FIFA 12, all I'm saying is that I'm not going to deprive myself of a boss game that I can play with my mates just so I can protest FIFA in the most minute and ineffective of ways.

Oh i'm not having a go at people for buying it, just confuses me a bit. When England didn't get the WC some of the sour grapes i heard was laughable. The hatred for FIFA for being this corrupt force that made itself richer and richer and denying this country the chance to host the greatest spectacle on the World stage was immense - but they are apart of a boss game franchise so it's all ok.

As i say, no problem with people buying it, as loads will do on friday (incidentally those people who queue outside Tesco at 11.30 waiting for the midnight release of a big game, need a serious word with themselves) i'm just surprised after loads called FIFA for everything last year.
