I am Praying for oasis cant think of anything better the best band in the world at the best festival in the world lucky i got a ticket! wont bother me who is headlining though

It's down to a contractual agreement with Sonisphere. Sonisphere had them down as UK headline exclusives, and Glastonbury effectively had them booked for the Other Stage on the Saturday night, with Prince headlining, but with Prince, not giving a definitive answer and the bookers not wanting to miss out on any headliner at all, they've pushed up Metallica to Pyramid headliner, but can't announce as it would break Sonisphere's 'exclusivity' clause.

Will do in due course.

Mind, if they were originally booked to Headline the other, i see no reason why they couldn't be rebumped there, but seems very unlikely, that Oasis would go to Glastonbury as opposed to like 10 nights at Heaton Park.

There's far too many festivals around now. Too much choice. I'd be surprised if most of them even get close to being sold out.

Yeah I don't get why people think Oasis would do it, hasn't Noel said a few times that Glastonbury's never gone well for them?
Making millions at Heaton Park like the stone roses a couple of years ago will surely be the way it happens. Would love to see it too.

what price did you get when you made your bet?

I've had money on Kasabian (6/1) and that's paid out handsomely as i stuck £100 on it, so thought may aswell go for broke and stick £150 on Metallica too and that was 15/8 i believe, pays for my ticket, pays for my spends, and some.

Bought Sat tickets for the night gigs around Sound City.. got to be honest, never heard of the vast majority of bands! Plan to try a few different places around Duke Street area just
