Player Valuation: £100m
Sir Alex Ferguson calls an end to Manchester United summer spending, insisting that Chilean youngster Angelo Henriquez is the final arrival at Old Trafford before transfer deadline day.

"We definitely won't be buying anyone else," he said. "There is no movement about anyone going the other way."

After their performance against us this does surprise me. the definitely need a centre midfielder to dominate the game and have looked at lucas moura all summer. would have thought they would have bought one. scholes was terrible against us, cleverley doesn't do an awful lot for me either.

As long as Baines doesn't go I don't care.

I would like to see them get a few players though and win the league this year. But then again Fergie has won the league a good few times without the best squad in the league.
Would like to see someone like De Rossi or Schweinstieger playing for them.

Does Rio Ferdinand still play football anymore?
How have they managed to get so many defenders injured all at the same time?
When everyone is fit just who is first choice RB?
Will Fletcher make it back because as already mentioned they simply do not have that center midfielder that'll cover the gaps when they are in possession and work the ball back when they arent. New signing Andesron hasn't convinced me he is the answer there either.

They had something like 65% possession against us, yet we made all the good chances and had all the efforts on goal bar one. On their day their attackers will crucify some sides, but pitted against the higher quality sides it is a dangerous game to play to expect being able to outscore them. For every time they beat a top 6 side 4 - 3 they will lose two others.

He built that club on being very difficult to score against, that air of invincibility is well gone.

considering they just bought a left back, he obviously aint going to buy baines. anderson should be shifted imo, he does sweet FA when i see him. obviously i don't examine his every performance, therefore, i could be wrong. i think they'd be better off with kagawa behing RVP and rooney in an ACM role with young and valencia on the wings with a deep lying playmaker. fellaini would be so perfect for that role it's unreal. schweinsteiger is a good shout as well, they wouldn't get him though. dont really like man utd, but would much rather see them win it rather than the moneybags of citeh and chelsea

I think he needs to have a gas test done, if that comes up negative then we are witnessing the decline of a footballing mind.

Found in a ditch, pished and teaching the fairies the offside rule within 2 years... by Keano's dog.

They've needed a top class centre midfielder for years... it's bizarre how he doesn't seem to realise that. He even needed to beg Scholes to come back out of retirement. Yet he continues to buy wingers, strikers or ****e left backs from the Dutch league.

They may struggle to finish in the top three if they go into the season as they are now.

Sadly not, for me.

They have Fergie man, I know, over the Years, hes spent VAST sums of money and bought some terrible players, but as a Manager, hes the best ive seen in my lifetime anyway.

And their forward line is terrifying.

i predicted them 3rd, with the front three it screams goals, and their wingers can produce a healthy amount. i just think they're too weak defensively, plenty of bust games for de gea this season i think. they wont finish outside top 3 though, arsenal are too week in defence and dont have enough goals. still think they're better prepared than spurs though, who will be ****ed if adebayor gets an injury
