So Man Utd are preparing for the time after Sir Alex. I think he said once that he would retire when he's 70. Now he's making commentars like "Another two or three years wouldn't harm me". I think he will manage them til he dies or the apocalypse starts. And I would bet that it won't be David Moyes who will replace him.

Sorry, I was a little mean.

I thought at first you had done this in the Everton forum.

I can only beg for forgiveness.

They will go for Mourinho, IMO.

It will never be Moyes. Imagine how disappointed the Mancs would be. You can almost here the chant of Defend! Defend! Defend! Ringing round Old Trafford...

I hate to say it but I think the Manc Yanks will go for stability and longevity. That will exclude Jose and Pep. Moyes could very well be the man I fear.....after LFC let it be known that Brenda turned it down.....

I don't think we'll get any indication that he's going TBH. He knows that's a recipe for poor performance after last time.

Like most things it will depend on timing. I think Guardiola will end up at AC on a fairly long term thing and Mourinho will probably come back to England at the next proper opportunity and stay for a long time.

If Ferguson isn't ready to go at those points then it's wide open.

I reckon it'll be a fella like Pellegrini that gets it.
