Fergie retiring

Could we be about to loose DM to Man Ure?
And are we about to get a windfall from the sale of Rooney who has expressed a wish to go play in Germany?
So many questions and not enough answers!

I won't mention Moyes in here as it's being discussed in the Everton forum.

But if fergie does go, they surely have the pick of any manager they want.

Can see Ferguson stepping upstairs a bit (health etc...) and moulding someone to his style.

OR

them getting the biggest name they can.

OR

it's all toilet and he's not retiring.

United appoint Mourinho, and he reveals that the team he says loves him the most was United all along.
Mass Stamford Bridge suicide.

SCENES

If, if he is retiring. Well, he's got to be up there with the greatest, if not the greatest, manager of all time doesn't he?

Screw trying to live up to that legacy.

I'd say he's the best mate. As much for doing it with Aberdeen too.

I was thinking about his European record, which is good, but with United he's always been searching for a bit more. But I forgot about Aberdeen.

I reckon he wants another Champions League, so for that reason I can't see him standing down.

He is without doubt the best manager there has ever been and will almost certainly remain so in the future.....

He said this in a recent prog:

"Whether I will be here to oversee another decade of success remains to be seen, but I certainly don't have any plans at the moment to walk away from what I believe will be something special and worth being around to see."

Doesn't sound like someone who is retiring does it?
