Desaparecido

Player Valuation: £15m
Lots of talk about Maro being up for this one beforehand, but he didn't have a good game last night. Any thoughts? I've read in the Daily Post - "...Marouane Fellaini, who had earlier needed an injection to play in the game..." and "...the Belgian, [was] hampered by a back injury..."

A few players played with injections supposedly, we are down to the bare bones.

He was poor, he has been for the last few games. I think he's a good player but he's immobile, that'll always go against him. Even more so when he's carrying a knock.

IMO he was playing too far up the field with Arteta and Neville sitting too deep. So being that there was no one to pass to in the middle of the park going forward and he was always tackled or hussled by 2 RS players, and the injury, just meant a poor game.

We did seem to be playing 4-4-2 and hoofing it up to the big Fell hoping he'd controll or head or do something and it wasnt working.

Correct.

He seemed off colour yesterday. Didn't seem really there mentally and was getting agitated. Wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't getting frustrated by his own poor performance as much as anything else.

His 2 game suspension doesn't seem to of done much for his awful tackling or his attitude.

He was lucky not to go in the book again last night.

Made a stupid tackle (on Mascherano i think) were he basically kicked him from behind and then later on looked really angry after a decision gave against him and he was running his mouth and gesticulating towards the ref.

Needs to keep his composure otherwise the bookings will keep coming, even if he is often unfairly penalised he doesn't do himself any favours.
