Feeling of entitlement from United fans

Bruce Wayne

Player Valuation: £100m
I've tried to soak in as much as I can since yesterdays win and it does bug me a bit how in so many of the reports, and comments after them, both Moyes and Rodwell are seemingly passing the time with us until United come in and take them on to great things.

If you believe the reports both are almost foregone conclusions and neither would dream of turning down the offer from them.

You could understand Rooney leaving because we were in a mess at the time, but now we're on the verge of something big hopefully all staff well tell these vultures to go and do one.

Totally agree . Makes me cringe reading some of the utter bullsh*t printed by certain newspapers but the only way to stop them writings such things is to transfer that promise into trophies because only then will they begrudgingly accept Everton at the same table .

I understand what you're saying. But that's a view based on this club still having to sell its assets in blue jerseys to operate in the transfer market each year. If you're an outsider you cant be expected to think in any other way than the one you're hitting out at.

rodwell

Any bIds and KenwrIght wIll sell. Fact. We need a chaIrman who actually puts hIs own money Into the club and untIl then It's squeaky bum tIme In every transfer wIndow.

Fergusion isn't going to retire for a long long yet, not while Rooneys so good, u can just tell. He'll go on till his body stops him.

As for Rodwell, based on everyones current transfer budgets and what not, no one other then City can afford him an he isn't that stupid.

Rubbish Kenwright does not accept any bid ie saha last year for £8m. So not fact. He will accept bids which makes good business sense and most of the time it is the player forceing the issue to leave not kenwright wanting to cash

rooney lescott and gravesen are proof enough that every player has a price.

if a club came in for rodwell with a bid of 15 million + i think the club would sell.

face it , the only way to fund new buys at everton is to sell our players and getting a couple of replacement players with the money.

as for moyes , well i think he has already said he wants to build and leave his own legacy , there would be nothing for him to acheive at man utd other than continuing fergusons work.

You have to ask yourself would they want to go to United.

For me, the 'special' times at United are drawing to a close, and a 'new era' soon to begin.

What was the biggest club in the world is now full of debt.
Ferguson is soon to retire.
Ronaldo clearly wanted out.
Giggs, Scholes, Neville etc soon to retire.
Their neighbours are now the biggest club in the world regarding financial clout.
Villa may beat them in the final, and Chelsea may pip them to the post, leaving them with no domestic trophies.

The only way they would want Moyes is because they might soon need someone with an eye for talent, and a talent for working within a budget.

Their domination is coming to an end I feel, and the fear factor that sends most clubs to defeat before the whistle blows is also coming to an end.

The same happened to Liverpool, and the same will happen to United, sooner rather than later.

In that same article:
Moyes believes Everton FC, which has recovered from a dreadful start to the season when it was overwhelmed by injuries, is reaping the benefit from the solidity under chairman Bill Kenwright.
Moyes has been in charge eight years and he said: "If you can give managers a chance to do their work and get on with it, I think it shows. With Brian Clough and Sir Bobby Robson and Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson they all got long, long periods at their clubs.
"I’ve got a really good chairman and people have been really supportive and yes there have been times when the team’s not been doing so well but I’ve never at any time felt any threat, and that’s the sign of a good chairman.
"He takes the pressure off the manager when there is any and he’s let me get on with the job."

Any manure fans who are speculating with great arrogance that DM and JR are soon to be on their way to OT have aybe not noticed that everton are building an empire that may well challange their own. I can honestly see everton (injuries permitting) being in the hunt for the CL places and trophies in the coming few years. There are exciting times ahead.
