i feel the yak could be like a new signing this season he needs to be given a good run early in the season!!!!

With the disappointment of this offseason and not getting a new striker (or being able to sell Yak), I think Moyes needs to bite the bullet and try to bring him back into the fold. I know both of them are stubborn but it would be best for both sides to clear the air and try to get Yak back to his form from a few years ago. Then maybe we can get some interest for a transfer.

Of course the big problem is that he only has one year left. If we don't sell him now, we risk letting him go for free. That would really suck.

and oh yeah welcome but always scroll through the threads first as i think there is already a yakubu thread up

Dunno if he'll ever get back in Moyes' plans

But would love a firing fit yak back, tearing Liverpool a new one like he did in the derby.

I want him out of the club ASAP so we stop paying him wages and hopefully free up funds for a player who'll actually turn up and play occasionally.

I don't understand the irrational love for this mercenary.

Ive said it before but the yak is the most natural goalscorer we've had since lineker. His first season his confidence was up, he had his bad games but he delivered what he promised - goals. I dont know if its his injury, confidence, attitude, being 45, personal issues etc but if there is a chance of getting the yak back to his best then i want him given a chance to prove himself. I believe in you yak. :)
