Favourite time for Kickoff

I'm a traditionalist Saturday 3pm or midweek under the lights, Early or late kick offs don't do it for me.

This. Although I used to enjoy Sunday games back in the early eighties when they first started showing live league games in Britain. Back then it was an exception rather than a Sky rule.

Feel like I am completely wasting my time if I just sit there and watch it on a weekend afternoon.

I guess it depends on whether your going to the game or not. I spend most my Saturday's watching Young Munster RFC, so evening Sat kick offs suit me.
I go to games at Goodison Park when there is no rugby match. Just recently was at the Norwich match, travelled to Dublin to make the lunch time flight and returned on the evening flight, getting home at 11pm. Anything other than a 3pm Sat kick off and I'd be screwed, or need to book a hotel for the night.
Love Goodison under lights though, at it's best then imo

The first rugby game I was ever at was Young Munster V Shannon, early 90's. Peter Clohessy was playing, I was also at their game V Carlow in Carlow's first game in the top division, Paul O 'Connell made his senior debut that day.

Absolutely hate it when kicking off early over here, but when over to England to watch Everton, I prefer an early Sunday kick off. Leaves me with the Saturday having plenty of choices about which other grounds/matches to visit, as I also love groundhopping.

Leaves me with a sunday routine of a full English breakfast, pub around Goodison, match, pub around Goodison, diner in the city and round it of with a pub visit (normally The Cornmarket Pub).

Not anymore. Used to go to the odd away one in London and a few at home but I've lost interest in the last few years with how bad Everton has been and the price of going.

Hopefully this new era may change things!
