Boca Juniors. Do you know why they play in blue and yellow? when the club was founded in the port area of the Rio de la plata, the founders couldn't make up their minds. So someone suggested using the colours of the flag from the next ship that came into port. Happened to be a Swedish ship and the rest, as they say, is history.
Does anyone know why other colours were chosen.

The Corinthians football Club in Brazil adopted their name from the old amateur Corinthians Football Club of London and I understand Real Madrid adopted the Corinthians' white kit. Not sure if they were copying the amateurs or the Brazillians though.

I guess I'll go with River Plate.

One because I like 'em.

Two because I want to wind up all of you Boca supporting slobs.

Boca Juniors of course, their fans are unbelievable nutters and completely mad about the club, this is how it should be, no plastic fans, no anorak brigades.
