Lads.

Mine would be on a ciabatta for starters, fresh out of the oven if possible. If no ciabatta is available then just thick sliced brown or wholemeal bread.

Filling:
- Thick spreading of cranberry sauce, on both sides.
- Crispy pan-fried bacon rashers.
- A few thick slices of brie cheese.
- Perhaps some crunchy cos lettuce.
- Three of four nice slices of tomato.

That's it. Perfection.

If that's not available, then get me the nearest coronation chicken sandwich you can find!

The turkey & bacon roll, with cranberry, stuffing and salad from Spoilt For Choice on Stanley Rd, Bootle.

GERRRRIN.

Bacon and egg with brown sauce.

Sausage and bacon with brown sauce.

Sausage and egg with brown sauce.

Bacon, sausage and egg with brown sauce.

Coronation chicken.

Another one I just thought up:

Chicken left over from the Sunday dinner, salt and loads of pepper, handful of crushed crips. Mmm.

PS yes! Another coronation chicken fan. Good man, goodman.

Sliced Beef, foot-long Italian herbs bread, cheese and toasted from subway, especially when I'm in America, their Subway's our better than ours it seems, as well as their staff being waaayyy more polite, but that's for another thread I suppose.

I don't get all of the Subway hate from lots of people. You can get some quality sandwiches there, and being a little bit cheeky with whoever is making it can get you as much toppings as you want. "Massive handful of jalepenos please mate, and loads of tomatoes."

Delightful.

I love Subway, I just like the ones in Orlando way better then the ones over here.

I remember when Subway in the UK did their points system or whatever it was.

I went onto eBay and bought a roll of them for a tenner and it bought me about ten footlong sandwiches. Hahaha...

I dislike Subway because they market their food as healthy when it's junk. Look at the nutritional information. OK, it is possible to eat reasonably healthily from there, but you'd have to have chicken or turkey and no sauce.

Favourite sandwich?

Pastrami, Emmenthal, mustard, gherkin on rye or granary bread, or "New York Deli" as it often gets called.

Quiznos > Subway, too.

you have to be dead choosy to get a genuinely 'healthy' sandwich from Subway definitely.

I love Subway and my favourite is th BMT on Hearty Italian bread with lettuce and cucumber, with south west sauce.

The new uber healthy marketing ploy is a joke though.
