Wouldnt overly disagree...when I'm in town, I have eaten there in the past, and enjoyed it, however if its purely chinese you're after then Yuet Ben is the place

UNI on Renshaw. Best Indian in Liverpool. No wow factor, but cant fault the food.
The Noble House. New place from the people behind alma de cuba.
Panoramic is half decent.

I'll let you in on a secret. If you go into the shop, they have a list of stuff that didn't make the final cut, so they get rid of it cheap see? Other week I went in, got a box of 20 pasties for £4.
