Only been to one, Beckford did score a wonder (flukey) goal though. Chanting "you're getting sacked in the morning" at Ancolotti, only to hear he was sacked driving past Walton hall park. Hilarious.

Bib Bob's 30th goal as we stuffed Chelsea 6-0. Still got the turf I pulled up.

The Beckford goal against Chelsea was good.

The last home game against Portsmouth in 06/07 was the best final day atmosphere I've had at Goodison, think we needed a win for Europe and Goodison was bouncing after the break as we scored 3.

What's been your best last match of the season so far, and why?

For me, the relief of the 94 Wimbledon match can't be underestimated, cos at 2-0 down I really thought we were about to fall through the trap door.

For similar reasons, the Coventry one in 98 was also notable (although both of these matches had so much hanging on them that there weren't enjoyable for me).

Other memorable ones are Man City 5-2 away in the early 90s under Kendall, and Aston Villa at 1-0 home under Royle. That was the day we very nearly qualified for Europe when we had Kanchelskis. Great atmosphere, and but for bergkamp scoring late on for Arsenal, we'd have done it.

Always thought it was David Platt who got the Arsenal goal that denied us. Not the only time we missed Europe on the last day, remember Rooney missing quite a few chances in defeat to already champions united losing our place to Blackburn.

Most memorable obviously the two great escapes, watching premiership years the other day and all the Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge cheering on Bolton.

Thank you Gianluca Vialli and Jody Morris.

We beat Newcastle 2-0 in 2004-05, but we still had two away matches to play. Think weir and Cahill got the goals.

We then got beat 7-0 at arsenal in midweek then got beat 3-2 at Bolton on the last day

2-0 against West Ham in 2013. I know it wasn't strictly the last game but it was the last home game. Putting the Moyes leaving nonsense to one side, we absolutely battered West Ham that day and should have won 5 or 6 nil. The atmosphere was quite angry as well which is unusual for a late season game with not a lot riding on the result
