Interesting piece from the Guardian on favourite grounds past and present. Although to be honest the readers comments are far more interesting than the article!

Goodison features strongly

For what it's worth my favourite grounds other than Goodison are/were Portsmouth and WBA for atmosphere, Highbury because it was just what a football stadium should be like (although very little atmosphere) and Villa Park (remember all those semi-finals....sigh )

There is NO stadium better than Goodison AT NIGHT - its beautiful...

I like Old Trafford a huge stadium...

Waldstadion - Frankfurt (video Cube!!!)
