Favourite foreign team(s)

Does anyone have any favourite foreign teams that they look out for or have even been to see a few times?.

I've been to see Fiorentina a couple of times as I always used to like them in the football italia years. Even managed to buy that Batistuta 7up kit a few years ago on some dodgy stall in Phuket.

Not really following them but I always liked Palmerias kits and even bought an Adidas retro tacky top a few years ago. I can remember a Corinthians fan getting a cob on with me for wearing it whilst I was on holiday in Portugal last year.

Followed KR Reykjavik since we played them in the Cup Winners Cup in the 90s, got family over in Iceland and went over there earlier this year, got one of the shirts too. Followed Rangers closely for 20 years, did a tour of the Scottish grounds when I was younger and one of the directors spotted us in reception and gave us the grand tour, walked out the tunnel onto the pitch, changing rooms, trophy rooms. The lot. It was ace.

I’ve always followed Dumbarton after living there for 10 years but I can’t really give myself more heartache with football by caring much about them.

I dont "support" any foreign teams as that would be a bit weird but I do have a favourite side from most nations because..well why not? Its handy for Fifa and the likes...

Some of them are:

Scotland: Ayr United
Germany: Tennis Berlin
France: Clermont Foot
Sweden: IFK Goteborg
Portugal: Boavista
Poland: Cracovia
Russia: Lokomotiv Moscow
Czech Republic: Dukla Prague
Switzerland: Grasshoppers

Most of them have links to where I have been on my travels or people who I know to be honest. Some will simply be due to me liking their kits in the old subbuteo catalogues etc.

AC Milan, ever since that great side from the late 80s.
Technically Everton would be my favourite foreign team, since I am a Scotsman living in Australia

Inter Milan, just for the sheer host of favourite players who’ve played there over the years. Ronaldo, recoba, ibrahimovich, vieri, Davids, batistuta (on loan), cannavaro, zanetti, sniejder, Adriano, baggio, and of course the Everton trio of eto’o, materazzi and Andy vdm!!!
