Favourite Foreign League

Used to enjoy the French league when BT/TNT had it, shame they dropped it. Now enjoying the J League on YouTube. It's a surprisingly technical league and pretty competitive. Every team has a random Brazilian too which adds to the excitement.

I honestly watch very little of foreign leagues, but tend to enjoy it when I do. There are different reasons as to why I don't watch much of foreign leagues, with the main reason being that I don't have the time.

However, I tend to watch a bit of the Spanish La Liga, highlights for German Bundesliga games and occasionally UEFA cup competitions (UCL, UEL, UECL). I do enjoy watching the Copa Libertadores final, which is a real spectacle.

Another poster mentioned Scottish football - I do watch that, but I don't see it as foreign (despite not being Scottish).

My favourite and what I’m still loyal to is the Italian league, due to that World Cup and gazetta on channel 4 brainwashing me all those years ago.

Also, still watch some Spanish, German and French games, if I stumble across them in the telly, which all seem better and more entertaining than our boring prem.

Allsvenskan, Sweden

Come on the mighty Ifk Göteborg

Seen a few games in Gothenburg, and a couple at Malmö. Less play acting than the bigger leagues, atmosphere at games tends to be pretty good as it is like a day out to a lot of fans. Only problem is, once a decent player comes along they are snapped up and go abroad, can't blame them for that though.

Used to enjoy the C4 coverage of Italian football.
