What’s your fav Easter egg guys ? I’m a traditionalist so do enjoy a bog standard Cadbury chocolate buttons one but I’m also partial to a bit of caramac. What’s your fav or best Easter egg you’ve ever had ?

(it’s 3.50am, I’m on my last night of work and I can’t sleep so forgive this thread)

My son told me the other day that Easter Eggs symbolise the stone in front of Jesus's tomb. I always thought the egg represented new life and all that jazz!

Personally, I eat very little chocolate so I just take the chocolate bar or whatever that comes with it and give the egg to someone else.

None.

I still haven't recovered from the trauma as a 6 year old, when I had my first Easter egg. It sat on the mantle piece in its shiny silveryness for weeks during lent and I couldn't wait. Then Easter Sunday came and I picked it up - the effing thing was HOLLOW.

After the tears dried up I remember negotiating with mum that in future if she could just spend the equivalent amount of money on chocolate bars then that would be a favourable solution going forward.

It was my first lesson in appearances being deceptive and how the world is out to scam you with false images and advertising.

Caramac was the best ever imo.
But the best ones are on sale on Monday at greatly reduced prices, which is still a rip off.
Last year in our local supermarket they were giving out broken Easter eggs on a tray. Me, being on a diet, took only a small piece. I circled back to that effen aisle fifteen times. Took me two hours to buy a few bits.
