It's a classic Southern American breakfast dish. Biscuits and sausage gravy. @RAFUH might be able to put the biscuits I am talking about into context better. Here's how to make both.

I use spicy pork sausage in mine:

I once had to go to the Foxes biscuits factory in Yorkshire. There was a massive bowl of bikkies in reception. I don't mind admitting I robbed loads. Stuffed me pockets and everything. I think it's in Dewsbury if anyone's interested.

Ahhhhhhh those kind of biscuits. Well those are sensational.

I don't know why but your original pic looked like choco chip cookies with some kind of frosting. That's what was going through my head anyway.
