SerenityNigh

now you're gonna hear about it
Lots of similar threads, but I don't think I've seen this. It's pretty simple, but the trouble is dividing up the movies appropriately. This category excludes super hero films (Batman, X-Men) and action films (Bond, Bourne Identity, Die Hard) and others that I can't figure out to place (Godfather, Ocean's). I've stuck Indiana Jones here, but largely because I don't know where it fits (and it was in the era of most of the greats.)

Have at it.

I'm sure there are some great ones I left out. Aliens/Predator is one considered putting on the list but forgot when I typed it. I'm with Ijjy in not knowing what to pick, but I did think the thread would get more traffic than it has.

I'm not a fan of every Harry Potter movie, but for me and Mrs Nigh they're go-to "fall asleep" movies (and for the most part they are safe to play with the kids around.) Star Wars IV-VI are outstanding the but others are quite lacking. And Indy is always a fun watch, even the newest one. That's my favorite Harrison Ford character.

Raiders Of the Lost Ark, clearly the greatest film of all time.

I voted terminator I'm the only one who voted for it does that make me a nerd or are all the Star Wars/startrekkies the nerds I'm confused now
