So, I know most of you's are all asleep, maybe just waking up. It's only 12:45 here in der States and as I sit here and watch same lame remake of House of Wax, I can't help but wonder what the fellas at GOT think of bloodcurdling guts and piercing screams.

So mates, let us know what horror movie made you scream the loudest or sleep with the lights on or even piss yourself.

To start things off, mines John Carpenter's The Thing. Without a doubt one of the grossest and goriest movie displays out there. The special effects and splatter-fests of the 80's always hold a dear place in my heart and The Thing is right on top. It actually has a good story to it and the ending casts just enough shadow of a doubt to leave you wondering in your bed at night.

Have at it boys!

•silence of the lambs
•poltergeist
•alien
•rosemary's baby

Quite liked Freddy vs. Jason, that was entertaining :D

wait until EFCNIK sees this....certain serbian might pop up

Ooh we've not done horror movies for a while.

Here's a few of my faves:
Scream
The Hills Have Eyes
28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later
Dawn Of The Dead (original and remake)
Not sure if it counts but Zombieland
Same with Shaun Of The Dead
I like zombie movies ok?!

Zombie movies are fantastic if a bit overdone. Hills Have Eyes, now that's a good one.

I really struggled with both Hills Have Eyes movies. I'm ok with horror, but mutated people really don't get on with me (just realised how weird that sounds!).

I tried to watch The Hills Have Eyes 2 on my own the first time and couldn't.

They just freak me out.

For me it's The last man on Earth vincent price 1965; (will smith recently did the remake )
We bluffed our way in the Essoldo London Rd as it was X rated then 18+ it was mid week, (didn't take much tbh bums on seats laddie bums on seats)

The film as Good but the real horror came after. As it was a school night we had to get home sharpish, so once it finished we were out across London Rd heading for Shaw st and the 46 via Islington, bad move.
This was when they were knocking everything down around there, place like a war zone, bulldozed houses and streets, no lights acres and acres of so called slum clearance.
We stared off walking, then a faster walk, then a jog, then running, until we were flat out sprinting pursued by hordes of Zombies.
As was stated it was a school night, we were never so glad to see the Collegaite, Shaw St and working street lights as we were that night.
The biggest horror is in your own mind.
Mind you once we got there it was all macho posturing, what were you running for , waddya mean me, you were doing the running I was just following etc etc

THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK.

Alien, 30 Days Of Night (imo best vampire movie of all time),The Thing. ( the original b/w movie and the 1982 version)Salems Lot. The Evil Dead and The Excorcist 1 and Excorcist 3

Halloween the John Carpenter original, has a great creepy feel to it.

Not really anywhere on the same level but as a horror b movie, Midnight Meat Train with Bradley Cooper, Vinny Jones and Rampage Jackson I thought was massively under-rated.
