Welcome back Wayne
Now that the FSW has thrown his hat in for the Chelsea job ( funny he didn't try for the Wolves one), he's trying to get the Kopites on his side......

"Yet the former Internazionale manager pushed his own case for consideration on Monday night in the belief that he would not fracture his relationship with fans on Merseyside in the process. "Can anybody argue [against the fact] that the Liverpool fans love me? No," said Benítez. "If we agree with this, what do you want for somebody who you love? The best for him. I cannot be waiting at home for five years. Everybody understands that I will need a job.

"If they want me to have the best, they can say you can manage a team at the bottom of the table or manage a team at a top of the table and try to win trophies. That is my idea, to have the option of a top side and try to win trophies. If they love me, they will understand."

Can you just imagine the amount of money he would spend, and the number of players he would get through with his hands on RA's chequebook..........

I read pretty much the same on RAWK regarding FSW being given spending power. Of course, at the RS he hardly spent a penny...

He'd do job for them, not sure a good one. Certainly one way to find the best manager is to employ and sack a many as you can, one has to work right??

He will be crying about the board in no time at all, and Roman wont stand for that, unless he flukes another Champions league, the fat whopper wouldnt last a season there, was a huge failure at Inter, and left Liverpool in a dreadful mess, that Hodgeson took the full blame for, he also tried to get rid of Alonso twice!

TBF his managerial record is quite impressive in terms of trophies won and he does have the reputation to be able to bring in world class players, He just doesent know how to handle the press and plays too defensive.

I think he would be a decent fit for city or chelsea, he does well when he has money to spend. He left liverpool, valencia and inter due to money issues.

But he is still annoying, remember rafas cracking up LOL, ferguson had him in his back pocket

Why wouldn't they understand? They loved it when he put Everton down as not a big club, so they cant get all arsey about him wanting to steer clear of managing a 'small club'.

Makelele autobiography: “I thought Mourinho was practically untouchable, but a lot of players had complained about him, notably John Terry."…. "The departure of Terry was totally unimaginable so Mourinho was asked to pack his bags.â€￾

Cant say this is a surprise, the most destestable of cockneys has tarnished a lot of peoples careers, not bad for an average CB
