I’m calorie counting with swimming twice a week and spinning once a week. I started 1st jan. and within jan I’d lost 9lb. But then 4lb went back on. Gp said it was water coz of fast loss
At start. So now I’m 5lb lighter this year. But not seeing anymore results. It’s very frustrating. And my natural instinct is to give in. But I’m not going to. Hubby’s said I’m stressing myself out too much coz I’m so focused on my
Body issues and I won’t lose anything while stressed. I’m going to try and reduce my carbs a
Bit, increase protein.
Solidarity. Keep going we can do this!!!
 
February update. Lost 7lbs in Feb so that was good. I think this 5:2 diet is working - and I've given up crisps for Lent. Crisps. especially the cheese and onion variety are like my version of crack cocaine!. I have been fantasising about drowning in a barrel of mature cheddar and onion Kettle crisps. However I digress. Still going to gym. I don't hate it now, but I am still far far from loving it or getting any kind of buzz out of it. I can now push 120kg on one of these. Feel quite proud of that.

Have got three eating out related social events this week - lunch with an old work colleague, baby shower for a pregnant colleague and a catch up with an old friend from Liverpool who is in the north east for work purposes. Will have to see how that affects things but I intend to drive so no alcohol and hopefully choose my food wisely!
 

I was 12 St 10lbs before Christmas and I'm currently 13st 4lbs. Ive been that since I weighed myself 2nd Jan, I keep making excuses that we had a family holiday first week of Jan and I keep working away, so it's hard to train. I need to get back into it, because some of my clothes don't really fit. It's hard though I eat when I'm stressed and work and home are really stressful at the moment for various reasons. I used to be much bigger as well, about 16 St and I'm worried if I don't get it under control, I will be back up to 16 St. I am training, but not consistently and making bad food choices. :(
 
I’m now on slimming world.
I lost loads a couple of years ago on Slimming World. It really works but if you stop.....I just piled weight back on because I was starving all the time.
I've been doing this 5:2 diet where you eat normally for 5 days in a week and then have 2 days where you only eat 500 calories. They don't have to be consecutive days. Seems to be working.
 
Well after my shingles fattening up I’ve gone back down from 82kg to 78kg cutting out all my takeaways and upping the water to 4L per day. Happy with my progress and can get back into exercise now I’m fully recovered.
