The stadium IS very relevant though mate.

Not just the added revenue but the USM naming rights deal that will be awarded (circa £20-30 million a season). Its a big part of our future.

Obviously we need to sort out the on the field matters as well.

You are aware this stadium isn’t just popping up for free aren’t you? Sponsorships and revenue won’t even scratch the surface to begin paying it off. Relegation in the next 3 years and we won’t be able to afford to even pay for it to be completed, it’ll be pulled and left half built like Valencia’s ground. We are sailing close to the wind make no mistake about that. Any points deductions in the near future will see us pretty much down as we don’t have the quality to finish so far clear of the drop. I’m very worried.

Thats nonsense - our loan repayments annually will be much less than what we make back otherwise no club would bother moving ground lol

Now that brands has been ousted its better but we need the main cause of the deliberate and calculated decline of this club - moshiri - out as well.

It's managed decline like the tories tried on this city in the 80's.

Im convinced of it.

Yeah. He probably lashed half a billion quid as a cover story.

Learn the difference between incompetent and malevolent.

It’s going to cost us close to a billion by the time it’s done, what are you expecting our sponsorship deals to be??? An extra 10,000 than Goodison for 6 games a season isn’t going to make that much of a difference either.

Like your mortgage its paid off over x amount of years mate.

These cats may be clueless when it comes to football but they aint multi billionaire's out of luck!

It must be said, privately funding a stadium with rising interest rates and thirty year high inflation is a lot more fraught with risk than many here are giving credit for.

That Moshiri underwrote stage one and we still haven't seen the syndicated debt package for stage two tells you that it's no doddle.
