Hi,

I'm from Scotland and will be working down in Warrington next week. I'm hoping to attend the Chelsea game next Wednesday night.

I was wondering if anybody could give me some advise about getting to and from Warrington (will be working til 5.50ish) Are there any supporters club that travel to the games in the area etc?

basically im looking for travel and advise on tickets.

any info will be great

Welcome mate. Jump on the train to Liverpool then rather then you can either get the train from Lime Street to Central (walking it is just as easy) or get a cab straight from Lime Street to the ground which wouldn't cost more than a tenner.

Where about in Scotland you fae pal?

depends where you mean by warrington as well mate, should be a choice of trains though, from warrington/birchwood/newton-le-willows.

train into l'pool will be quite quick though.

will it be pretty easy to get back to warrington after the game? Im actually saying a few miles outside Warrington (birchwood area) so will need to get a taxi from Warrington back to my hotel

ideally looking for a supporters bus from warrington

the train from birchwood goes to liverpool via warrington central (which isn't the same station as the glasgow train).

the station is across the road from the shopping mall at birchwood.

I live in Warrington and will be going on Wednesday so can give you a lift depending what time you get in. (Normally leave about 6.30pm)
Your train from Scotland will probably go into Bank Quay station which is about a mile and a half from where I live so no problem. I can drop you off in Birchwood on the way back.

cheers for the offer, will get back to you tomorrow if thats okay,

Will be in Warrington from Monday, staying in the Ramada in the Birchwood area and will be working til 5.30ish so could easily be ready by 6.30

Would it be easy enough to get a ticket outside the ground?

I think you can buy tickets on Everton's website and pick them up at the Bullens Rd ticket office on the night.
I bought mine for the cup game, they send you an email and ask you to bring the card you paid for the tickets with you as proof

No worries. As Mikey said though you may get one online and you can pick it up at Bullens Road car park.

Let me know today/tomorrow and I can pick you up somewhere if not Bank Quay
