On Saturday, 30th May at Goodison Park, Lounge Screenings were arranged for the fans that could not make it to the game at Wembley. Originally planned for 300 fans, in the end, over 800 fans purchased tickets ranging from £7.50 to £30.00 per head and enjoyed a hot meal and a inclusive drink. Utilising the marquee, the Captain's Table, the People's Club, the 1878 Suite, the Executive Boxes and the Sponsor's Lounge, the atmosphere in the ground was absolutely buzzing.
Head of Non-Matchday Sales, Tony Watson said "it was an absolute pleasure to host those Blues who could not make it to Wembley. There was a brilliant atmosphere and the noise in the lounges rivalled that of Wembley! Even though we could not quite manage a victory, the fans were good natured and we look forward to screening the final again next year!"
