Training something to be aggressive or to kill is nothing but blood sports. Yes they kill to eat anyway but that's to survive
What you're doing is nothing but fox hunting using different animals.

...never had much opportunity to train a falcon when I was growing up in Everton in the 60s, although somebody did say sparrows were baby pigeons.

Eagles trained to kill wolves in Mongolia. I have looked at the costs of this, I think a week holiday there is about £10,000, not for the average punter but is a holiday most will never experience.

Who has actually trained and flown a raptor? I first started as a youngster, getting my first Red Tailed Hawk was amazing, peeking through the box hole looking at it. I trained that bird to be very aggressive, it even attacked me and my collie dog, it was so super sensitive it killed a few woodcocks that lay on the ground that are invisible to see. I then went on to work for a falconry business training falcons, they are so intelligent that you only need to give a few markers for them to know what they are supposed to do.

I own a Barn Owl (as you all know as.. Carlos T Nodder) I am qualified LANTRA level 1 handler.Level 1 is all you need for a Barn Owl.Although he is a 'Raptor' he is also a rescued bird that has been brought up in captivity.He has no inkling to hunt and nor do I. To take him out and fly him is a joy to behold though.
