Fair play to Celtic

He's proven a shining example that Celtic have felt they are obliged to follow.

Celtic were founded in 1888 to provide charity to the poor of the east end of Glasgow. Steven Naismith was doing that sort of thing from 1883, he just didn't like other people knowing about it.

You'd of thought that Celtic established in 1888 would have been doing that before that shining example of charity Steven Naismith. Unfortunately not. But they are now and Celtic are telling people about it too.

Steven Naismith out-Brother Walrid'd Brother Walfrid.

In the last two season's before Rangers were relegated Celtic had an average attendance of 49.000. The two full season we've had since they were relegated that's slipped to just 47.000 average gate.

They dont really need Rangers, they need to be able to compete in Europe.

Not that much of a difference then really, I'm surprised at that!

Agree that they need to compete in Europe! They had a slow start to the league this season but seem to have got their act together now, I think they are 6 points ahead! They are still in Europa league, whereas if they had qualified for the champions league they might have been out of Europe completely by now! The game against Inter Milan at Celtic Park should get a bit of excitement going!

Celtic are a pub team, they're never going to improve in Europe until Scottish football gets a revamp and an injection of money and sponsorship, which won't happen anytime soon.

Celtic would get relegated from the English Premier League if they were in it.

Good effort, would read again! 4/5

But you didn't answer my question, DO YOU SUPPORT CELTIC AND EVERTON?

I am a member at a Spurs AND an Arsenal forum as well - does that make me a closet Spud and Gooner as well?

Mate, I've probably been to more home & away United games this season than you have been to Everton games in a lifetime. Actually, if I was a betting man, I'd say you're a plastic Evertonian who has never been to Goodison in his life.

So, again, are you a Celtic AND an Everton 'supporter'?

;)
:coffee:

:D

Chico has a way with words, I'll give her that. I've said my piece on Celtic anyway, not going to spam up the boards with any more of my opinion on them - it's obvious to me that many, many football fans have Celtic as a 'second team' and I'll never understand this but hey ho, I don't understand how people find Lee Evans funny either but someone has to!
I love Everton and hate everyone else.........everyone!!!!!

Oh and Lee Evans is an absolute hoot

Never got why we sing 'to hell with liverpool and rangers too'.

I thought of we were affiliated to either of them which I know we're not, it would have been Rangers?

Because if a sizeable minority of the crowd is Catholic Irish or descended from us, they are hardly likely to be singing The Sash. You need to go to Anfield to hear that tune.
