It's very sad he can't continue playing. I never thought it was likely anyway.

But coming back to life and the warmth of feeling from all, spiritually, would have been very enriching. Every day is a scource of wonder and joy for him.

There are more important things than football.

Footballers' careers end every day.

He will just have to get a proper job, like the rest of us. :D

He will do ok. :)

I doubt he'll find a 'civvy' job that easy he's a footballer and i highly doubt he would have been thinking his career would finish this soon. mentally it could be hard on the guy but like you said i suppose he's just happy to be alive. he genuinely seems like a nice kid hope it works out for him.
