He seems to have been completely blind sided by it. I certainly don't think he's a racist and it's a shame he's been dragged into this against his will, regardless of how worthy the cause

Regardless of that, Taylor should have surely had a heads up that this was all coming out?

It's one thing to put yourself in this sort of situation, but someone else has dragged him into this and it's seemingly took him completely by surprise.

Agree but it's simply a book selling exercise with someone else's reputation being tainted but not the alleged guilty parties. The odd timing bit I meant was about him not being given right to reply. Even dodgy tabloids give you a chance to put your own side forward.
